Since 2005, Corrina Gordon-Barnes, has been helping women develop inspirational ventures, with a key emphasis on sustainability, through her one to one coaching practice You Inspire Me.
“To me, coaching is about calling people forth into their own significance, so they can realize they’re not just a cog in the machine, but they have a part to play, in the transition happening in the world today.” She says.
Corrina believes that in a society in which it so easy to forget that everyone matters, coaching has a key role to play in helping people realise their contribution. “Today, we're all being asked to reduce our carbon footprint, but what’s equally important, is the need to increase our contribution footprint. The kind of footprint your heart is calling for you to leave. By opening up perspectives coaching helps people see they can earn money in different ways, be free to pursue their passion, and actually do what they really value in life, and make an important contribution through that.”
Corrina, says Co-Active Coaching’s great gift is its approach to listening: “To suddenly feel like you fill that space of that forty minutes, and it’s about you, and you’re special, is amazing, but what’s equally important is the coach's belief that you’re resourceful too, that you have the answers to the challenges you face, in creating the life you want.”
“I love creating space for people to create a vision of who they really are, at their most powerful. And what they want to do at their most powerful.”
